Thank you. Always wanted to build my own rifle and I found that there is not a lot of info on pre-fit actions and pre-fit barrels so I thought I would tell folks of my experience. One thing led to another and I wound up talking about the entire build. So far so good!

I know this is a dated video, but i’d really like to know more about the “tunneling” issue. Is there any way you can try capturing this on video for us, i’m in the market for a Schmidt. Thanks for the video, there isnt much out there for these phenomenal scopes.

@ I looked further into this and found a channel called “Primal Rights” who gave a good demonstration on this. Man, I think the tunneling issue is something I personally could not live with. May end up getting a 3-12x50 PMII or a Nightforce 4-16x42 ATACR. Havent looked through a 3-12 but the 4-16 ATACR is beautiful to look through for a more compact scope.

@@Asul5181 I understand, The main function of this scope for me is 500 to 1500 yards and generally speaking it lives at about 12 power. Therefore its not an issue for me. Also I purchased this scope in early 2020 when pricing was still reasonable. I paid about $2600 for the scope.

Great stuff John! I made the same choice on the Schmidt & Bender MRAD PM II a few years ago and now I have two. Purchased the second from Euro Optics like you...great customer service! The scopes performs flawless. I also shoot from a 100 yd zero out to 1000 yds with a custom 284 Shehane and 7mm WSM. It's rare that I need a spotting scope for most of my shooting because the optic is very bright and clear. Perfect for detecting wind...and wind shifts during mirage. I subscribed and look forward to seeing some of your range work and long range shooting with the Zeus action & quick change barrel capability.

Thank you, Wow sounds like you have a couple of sweet rifle setups. I plan on trying my luck on the 600 yard cold bore golf ball shot. There are a bunch of guys posting video of it on KZbin, Kotaboy, Gunfather Precision, Eagle Eye Shootng check them out it's kinda fun. I loaded 50 rounds of Berger 109 Long Range Hybrid Target for the challenge. I work a lot of hours and the range I belong to is 146 miles away, but i'll get to it soon!!
