Schmidt's development is so well written you don't even really notice it until you finish the series and go back to the first episode again. He goes from classic douche to a loving friend, devoted husband and put-together stay-at-home dad. Max Greenfield is wayyy too underrated

I also loved the conversation that Nick had with Schmidt in the desert, when Schmidt was super insecure about being a "strong" husband for Cece, and he felt like he needed to fight to prove that he could protect her. But then Nick talked to him how a good husband has to be loyal, kind, and caring, and they need to help their significant other and stick up for them, and that he had everything it took to be a good husband to her (and Nick himself lmao). Honestly, this show did such a great job with the social roles in general- Schmidt also decided to be a stay-at-home dad in the last season, for example, or Winston being the more over-emotional one in his relationship with Aly. Love New Girl, and I loved this video

hi! I usually brainstorm ideas, condense those ideas into "sections" (like how in this vid I have a section called "definitions", for example) and then write a script. the editing and script writing go hand in hand, though - sometimes I'll have a clip I really want to add in, so I'll change the script to accommodate that. hope this helps. let me know if you have any other questions!
