I am also loving the Gingko Tree 🌳 and you are right, the yellow is one of the most vibrant paints in the set. My personal favourite is Ultramarine finest. Hello :) thank you for subscribing ❤️ I don’t generally buy the art supplies if they are on their full price. I tend to wait for Sales and if I can get discounts. I’m still reeling over the fact that I finally own a Schmincke palette! It is also worth signing up to different art shops online so you get notified when they have discounts 😁 my fave shop so far is Jackson’s. They have never disappointed with their products or delivery time 👍🏼 I’m on a slight art hiatus because of personal matters, I do hope you stick around for more videos. Take care out there!

Hello Daniel, thank you for dropping by my channel. I’d say 12 colours would definitely be enough to start with! I think it’s good practice as well that you learn how to mix the colours you want from a limited palette. As long as you have the primaries you should be good to go. With Schmincke’s paint quality, mixing colours shouldn’t be a problem.
