Samantha's warmin' up some mmm mmm good dog stew and Endora is so hungry for horse meat that she turns herself into a dog. This wildly out of character commercial for Ken-L Ration dog food aired during season one of Bewitched, in this case during the episode, "That Was My Wife" (April 29, 1965).

What a cool vintage commercial. Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Moorehead were great together. Liz loved her as a person. As for Elizabeth, or Lizzie as she preferred to be called, is adorable.

I remember they once did an episode where Darrin's client was the maker of Mother Flanagan's Irish Stew. Darrin's job was to create an advertising campaign to help boost sales, but the stew tasted terrible, so Darrin convinced the client to rebrand it and change it to Doggie Stew! LOL

They didn't own one, but several times dogs showed up on the show. Richard Dreyfuss turned himself into a dog, Samantha's old Beau Ashley turned himself into an odd looking dog and Samantha turned Jack Warden into a dog.
