There is one element of cuckoo clock repair that i cannot find in any of the multitude of videos available on KZbin,; maybe you've tripped over this??? On all new movements you can buy online come with a straight bird post, which makes sense, since the height differences between the movement center and the bird door can be quite variable. Do you have a good method for determining where to make this bend? As I've learned, the tolerances are actually quite small.
