How to properly prepare crispy pork knuckles, as juicy as possible, soaked in aromatic spices and an incredibly tasty sauce. For this recipe I always use 2 pork knuckles, it is so delicious that one pork knuckle is never enough. In this video I'll show you all the details on how to prepare pork knuckles so that you end up with super crispy skin and juicy, soft meat. Cook with love! Cook with joy!
Ingredients and preparation:
2 pork knuckles (approx. 1.7 kg each)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground fennel
Black pepper
1.5 teaspoons salt
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
vegetable oil
parsley root
carrot
Green onions
1 cup hot water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
About 1 cup of beer
Baking at 200C, top/bottom heat with circulating air (or at 220C without circulating air)
Baking time 80-90 minutes
Bake at 240 degrees with a fan for 20-30 minutes until crispy
1-2 tablespoons cornstarch (for the sauce)
500g potatoes
Salt
70-80 g cornstarch
1 tablespoon butter
1 egg yolk
A pinch of nutmeg
Salt
