Home Free always makes any cover their own! The intro is definitely cool! I have fond memories of the original by the Doobie Brothers in the early 70’s! It's amazing that the Doobie Brothers used guitars, two drum sets, keyboards, other instruments and vocals to create this iconic song and 50 yrs later HF made it a classic once again using only Adam and their own vocal talents. Love all the new sounds Adam added especially that beautiful high note at the beginning and during the breakdown. He looked like he had so much fun making this video and I'm sooo glad the bandanas are back.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds. Adam is doing the high notes as you can see in the slowed down section.

RIP John Hartman, founding drummer for the Doobie Brothers. Hope he got a chance to hear this before he passed today. Doobie Bros were inducted into the Rock and Roll HOF in 2020.

Home Free did a great job with this classic song from the Doobie Brothers. I will listen to both the original and this cover in the future. Schnell, I am looking forward to your next reaction to The Warning since they released a number of songs since your last reaction. I suggest the live version of "Revenant". Hi Schnell, this is a fantastic cover by the boys. The original was done by The Doobie Brothers. I highly recommend checking out more of their originals....."Long Train Running", "China Grove", "Rockin; Down The Highway", "Jesus is Just Alright", etc. Austin and Tim do a great cover of "My Maria", originally done by Brooks & Dunn.
