Scholar transport crash: Survivor 'not in good shape'

Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane will today visit the families of the pupils who died in the horror crash in Merafong. Spokesperson Steve Mabona says the pupil who survived the accident is not in a good state.

My sincere condolences to the family.This too much our children die innocently everywhere in South Africa.This man still thinks he can pull wool over our eyes.The simple sentence wood be that the public hospital the child was sent to is in a bad state and ill equipped to perform medical assistance to the child.

Vehicle accidents happen due to various reasons with 2 most common are unroadworthy vehicles and drivers of vehicles breaking the traffic laws. Comes back to Respect again. Very Unfortunate and condolences to the families.

Oh my oh my so sad....this must be thoroughly investigated..a taxi cannot accommodate 22? People, irregardless their weight...did the taxi overspeed etc. The driver of the bakkie..roadrage? Irritable, etc etc. In general, the taxi's in SA dont follow any road rules, being arrogant, drive vehicles thats not road worthy, bad tires....please investigate properly and act properly

Any vehicle can carry more persons because the law says that when it comes to small children, 2 equals 1. You can do research on this.
