Not sure if the 'rules' of evolution even apply with ancient, artificially designed bioweapon warrior races. For example, did they always have the accent?

And you know what's weird? The rating agencies will absolutely give you a higher rating for red blood. Many games have overcome a high rating my making the alien's blood a different color. Not that any Games Workshop game is ever gonna not be gorey but it's still funny to me

now that's interesting. The idea that Krorks could spawn entire ecosystems to support the living species fighting on the side of the Old Ones. That would explain why their blood contains so many unique fungal strains, and why they bother growing into lesser versions such as Squigs and Gretchen. Imagine a single Krork falling onto a barren world and within months having the place teeming with life most likely designed to kill anything that isn't Orkoid in nature, since they are still weapons after all. Perhaps if this were the case, and the ecosystems were as weaponized as the Orks, then maybe places like Catachan are leftovers of the Aeldari purge of the Krorks. An unlikely theory considering the ecosystem would've degenerated alongside the Orks themselves, and there would be signs of Ork habitation of Catachan if it were, but perhaps if it isn't Ork-born then maybe it shows us what those ecosystems could've been like, and why the Eldar would have been so keen to purge the Krorks to protect both themselves and the balanced serenity of their Maiden Worlds

They are a very interesting part of the old lore, and as much as I enjoy the stuff written about them, I'm glad that they've been kept away from the modern setting. We can almost call the larger bosses during the war of the beast as being quasi-krorks given how strong they became, but the actual krork lore makes them out to be so incredibly powerful that they'd probably steamroll the current setting if they were still around.

@@Scholarslore absolutely. If not the Krork soloing the entire Imperium, then the resultant boost to all other Orks would have them annihilate everything within weeks at most. And remembering that Trazyn has one on display, if his Stasis field failed for one second the entire setting would be flooded in a tidal wave of green

As much as I love this and have fallen asleep to more than a few of these. I will say the Attenborough ai is.. troubling. I subscribed because I thought this was just your voice. Didn't pick up on the ai part. Thinking about it now I can see why people have a issue with ai. I mean your benefiting from his voice. Making money and fame from his voice. These truly are strange times. And I'm not sure how to feel about it because I can see it from both angles.

Slightly late to the party, I stopped using his voice two months ago following a request from him. These times are strange but they will only get stranger, voice based AI tools are only becoming more advanced, and faster, so in the near future we will certainly have real-time voice changing software, which will only make the whole debacle that much more complex. It's certainly a fair point to not like the AI aspect of this content however, but we'll have to see what happens in the future, because I can assure you that there are plenty of people who won't be willing to comply with take down requests.
