You should try this with someone older. I know of one incident, in the middle of a city centre, where some guy was mistaken for someone else by strangers and was threatened with having his fingers cut off (they had a device with them) if he didn't pay them back the money they thought he owed them. There was several of them and the guy was pushed to the floor and held against the wall; no one walking by did anything, in the end his friend had to pay up for him because he didn't have the money on him.
