Was in 4th or 5th grade, sitting in the back of the bus with my buddies. We heard this younger kid (a grade below us) up front complaining that he had to use the bathroom, and unfortunately for him he happened to be the last stop. The complaints grew louder and louder, and my friends and I were silently laughing our asses off at the poor kid as his groaning intensified. And then he shit his pants. On the bus. Halfway through the route. The funniest part had to be the fact that the poor kid was sitting all the way up front, right behind the bus driver. The look of pure disgust on the drivers face was my breaking point and I ended up loudly belly laughing. The bus driver handed him a plastic bag to sit on and asked everyone to put the windows down, and it was February. My friends and I have since graduated, grown apart over the years but still talk every now and then. We called this “the incident”. Pretty much all we have to do is say those words and we end up laughing.

The school buses I had when I was in high school had seat belts and some of the buses were pretty comfortable with tall breakrests to rest my head against and double as an acoustic barrier. The older school bus seats have so thin and soft seat cushions that you feel the plywood which is miserable to sit on for field trips or when a substitute bus driver makes a wrong turn. The seats in a car even a sluggish 1.6 liter NA 4-cylinder shitbox car are more comfortable than school bus seats. The seats in luxury cars especially the old boxy Lincolns and Cadillacs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are next level. There are supercars with seats as firm as Secret Labs Titan gaming chairs and those are super comfy too.

Man, i know you suffered that but lemme tell u, my bus isnt like those like double seats, from those giant busses, they were some of 4 seat, we had to go 6 per seat, uncomfortable for 2 HOURS, like man, i lived 15 minures from my home but i needed to get to my home until 4:30 pm just for 1 girl, hope i was joking. I needed to wake up at 4 am, and go to home at 4:30, lit i was half a day at school for the bus fault, and we just learned 2 useless things or less, we had a teacher WHO LIT PUT US THE SAME LESSON, THE ONLY THING SHE DID WAS PUTTING SOME GUIDES ABOUT FAMILY, AND NOT HER, BUT US, THE CLASSMATES HAD TO GIVE THE CLASS.
