I love macaroni and cheese, but one thing I learned from an Italian is, if oil stops the pasta from sticking together, it also stops the sauce from sticking to the pasta! Also try an idea from Ina Garten, add some Gruyere to it, it’s absolutely delicious! I love the fact that you don’t thicken the sauce, I’m always looking for ways to make it easier! Looks so delicious. I like to save a small bag of bits from a ham or roast just for a meal like this. Never tried leeks in mine, on the list for this week. I usually buy several leeks, slice, wash and freeze to use for soups or stews. Of course , used them all!

Always a good comfort meal 😋 airfryer looked nice and toasted on top ,even preparing it and cooking in airfryer for 10 mins as and when you need it x That's what I call convenient I love a bit of smoked bacon in mine aswell Sharon 👍luvvly jubbly! 😊

Just add Salt to the Pasta water. Don't add any Oil so that sauces will stick properly all over.

Please be careful with big pans on those camp stoves. The heat goes down onto the gas canister and they can explode.
