Thanks, Delya. They do a pretty good job of eating what I pack most days. Audrey was sick earlier in the week so didn't have as much of an appetite this week.

Happy to see a lunch video, I really enjoy watching the kids empty their lunch buckets out after school. Jacob's appetite seems to be going strong as usual, but I was so shocked to see Ben eating so well finally. Maybe Audrey's appetite was off because she started the week off not feeling great, and little Emily seems happy to help out with the emptying of the lunches after school, she likes the leftovers. I hope my granddaughter eats as well as your kids do. My daughter starts back to work tomorrow at the preschool, she is happy to be going back and Mackenzie will be starting her first day in the Infant room there, my daughter's friend is the head teacher in that room so she knows the baby will get good care. I'm sure she is happy to get back to her routine, and to know that the baby is in the same building. I went for an MRA appointment this past week to check the size of my aneurism and have a follow up appointment in a few weeks to meet with the doctor for the results, I'm nervous but hoping for the best. The baby had a follow up with the cardiologist and found that the hole in her heart is still there, but it has gotten smaller, so they will check again in December. Not much else here, just working on a few holiday gift ideas in my craft room. Thanks for sharing the lunches with us, the kids smiles brought some smiles to me as well. Have a good week.

Hi Tania, yes I was thinking the same thing about Ben, he's been eating his entire lunch lately. Jacob has a very short lunch, and sometimes the kids want to go out to play, and he does too. I always tell them I'd rather them bring their lunch home then throw it out. Food is too expensive to throw away, although I did end up tossing is spaghetti that day. I hope Mackenzie enjoys the day care and your daughter has a great start back to work. So nice they are in the same building. So happy to hear the hole in her heart has gotten smaller!!! You all must be so relieved! I'll be praying for good results after your tests. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the results. Sickness is going around here, I had a sore throat this morning and Emily seems like she's getting a nasty cough, hopefully it's nothing. Always nice to chat with you here . Ha ha... the other day i had an empty compartment in my sons lunch...i had to put his napkin in there cause it drove me crazy that it was empty!😂😂😂😂

I've been seeing stuff on social media about Truth and Reconciliation Day because when I was planning my vacation I started following a lot of Nova Scotia sites (Visit Halifax, etc.) so they've been posting about that and also something else that I forget the name of, maybe Treaty Day? I was in Halifax during the North American Indigenous Games but also I think even if I hadn't been there during the Games, most places I visited had a land acknowledgement. It's definitely a good start.

Hey Alison, yes, it's definitely a good start. I love that they teach the kids about it in school. It's so important that we recognize our mistakes in history so we can do better in the future.
