Man I just started doing this exact thing a week ago so I can get used to setting my site. Almost missed killing an elk last year because I forgot to set my site. Luckily I was able to let down adjust and still make a good shot.

Great tip. My first year with a slider sight I had been practicing at 60 and 70, day of the hunt forgot to set my sight back at 20 and shot over the back of a deer

Great advice I had shot my 40yd from an elevated position for so many shots that when I went on level ground from 30yds and almost instinctively used my 40yd pin.

I have been mixing it up from 10 to 60 from flat to 3 different elevations find that 10 from 20 foot up is one of the harder shots PS welcome back to hoyt

I'd just google it n look for the one with the best reviews. I'm going to let u know right now this sport is not cheap. If I were u I'd go with a bow that's already set up with everything. Bear archary has some good bows that are ready to go for like 500 out the door.
