Fun fact: the “I am not cool” scene in School of Rock was actually inspired by a real interaction that was had between him and the director… He said to the director that he thought he wasn’t cool enough for this movie since it was called School of Rock and he didn’t think he was cool enough for a movie that was about rock music… the director stopped him and said that was exactly why he wanted him in the movie and he would really want him to stay for production, so they wrote that into the movie ☺️

I don't know how the idea and concepts of the School of Rock came to be for the original movie that I also grew up with. But I do believe that half of the movie was inspired by The Rock censorship media, and the other half of parents not believing and refusing kids to get into rock music and become rock musicians and singers. But then when the School of Rock came along, thanks to Jack Black being the Lead Teacher, lead guitar player and lead singer. And with this group of kids throughout the rock band, including three backup singers who are also girls. The movie itself had became an inspiration for young kids that it is possible that they can be a rock singer and musician, at a very young age. People have forgot about the Cowsills, the Jackson 5 and even The Osmond Brothers. Where it was a group of kids who originally sang at a very young age, and singing In Harmony at a very young age at first. And then later on when they wanted to play some musical instruments, they became really good talents. And of course that was crossed over, and became part of rock history. I guess people I had forgotten about those rock groups, and obviously didn't care because of the rock censorship crap. But thanks to the success of the movie The School of Rock, it became a Smash Hit. It had Jack Black to cross into superstardom, and the movie also became an inspiration for kids at a young age to believe that they can be a rock singer and musician. Or better yet a rockstar. That's why I love the School of Rock so much. I wish big Hollywood names such as Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers or Disney can create a manufactured rock band with its own TV show. Inspired by the School of Rock, of these group of young kids both boys and girls, some of them as teenagers and some of them as preteens or tweens. Where at first they want to get together as a rock band, and then later on throughout the TV show and a possible movie and hopefully two sequels after it after the show's success. The band will become one of the world's most famous rock groups, and to have a group of young kids to make that dream come true. I also think that it should be possible to have the members of the manufactured band to use their real names as part of the whole concept, so with their real names to be used. The idea of it will blend in with the fantasy of the rock band, the blending with the TV show and possible movies. And that their real names can also blend in with reality. Similar to the first manufactured rock band from the 1960s The Monkees, as well as the Jonas Brothers TV show which was called Jonas. I hope an idea can come like that someday inspired by The Monkees, Jonas and of course the School of Rock
