As an individual who was in high school when the majory stoneman douglas shooting happened just a mile down the road from me, I can say whole heartedly, school safety is something that has impacted so many children today. Brianna gave such a great speech, change needs to be made.

We have one side saying that guns are not the problem, that everyone just needs to be more aware and speak out when students start behaving strangely. And then we have the other side saying that guns are totally the problem and that unless gun control Gets more strict, nothing else will make much of a difference. Meanwhile - court rooms AND Sport arenas in some regions have had metal detectors FOR DECADES.

Wow, thanks. I'm a decorated ex military Army veteran and a 23 year school guard/safety officer at a NJ school. I'm educated and I'm also civil service worker. Yet my school refuses to give us all certified training although there's funding for it. I'm considering writing a book or two on various topics. What state are discussing and I like your data!

Thanks for your service but you're wasting your time with such fantasies.

what's your contingency to having arm guards? It's well known that there's a small chance that a school disaster will take place.

Hi there! I'm the speaker in the video. I believe that one child killed in a school shooting is too many. Sadly, there have been far more than one child killed, and many more forever traumatized due to school shootings. Any reasonable change that can be made to product children in schools should be considered to minimize or eliminate school shootings.

Good idea, bring armed guards in the school, also do checks on all entrances. Then you don’t need to change anything when it’s time for your children to go to prison.
