Random, just saw the ending and I’ve been there. I’ve lost a lot of close friends when I realized that they never really had my best interest at heart and were actually really mean towards me behind my back. Haven’t fully cut them out of my life, but I definitely keep my distance. Sucks to be in that situation nonetheless!

You not wanting to leave your apartment is a dope realization, and it’s cool that you recognize that now. So many people think they have to leave their home to seek relaxation or adventure or anything. If you watch Fran Leibowitz’s Netflix doc, she talks about how she works hard so she can be able to enjoy the apartment she has. She doesn’t like leaving it because she likes her space. Why leave? She doesn’t even like the idea of a vacation because she loves her apartment that much. Leaving something she loves that much doesn’t make sense to her. I like an occasional vacation, but when she said that, I felt it so deeply. I love my space. I’m cool with it. I worked hard for it to feel a certain way. So enjoy your space!

About the end, I've been through something similar. I felt let down by who I considered one of my closest friends and also felt hurt by things she said (I guess she was just trying to be honest) when I tried my best not to be rude to her when she was wrong cause I didn't want to make her feel bad. Jokes on me. I definitely miss her and our friendship but I don't want to go through the same things again. Anyway, I understand you Kat, it sucks but it'll pass I guess!
