Steroids aren't as bad in Australia only thing we have is the islanders that move here don't have proper birth certificates so grown men end up playing in with the school boys seen it countless times and it's really bad just in the junior footy clubs what makes it worse all the big boys get picked over kids with real talent As one selector said to me we can teach talent can't teach size ,

Let me guess. You are some jelous 40 year old who had a dream of playing for the big union teams but you didn't have the work ethic these kids have. Jesus this comment section is cancerous. Yes, PED abuse is rife amongst South African schoolboy rugby. We all know this. It also happens to be rife amongst schoolboy rugby in every other country in the world that takes rugby seriously. Let's all stop pretending this is a uniquely South African problem. When I watched this video, I just saw a lot of fantastic rugby being played. Let's appreciate it for what it is.

These comment about roids are just stupid the Afrikaner boys are big and so are some of the black Africans and the Cape Coloreds has speed and flair...look at the history of SA we have been big before steroids...

And please tell me how long steroids have been around then compared the size of rugby players 60-70yrs ago to today’s roided up freaks. It’s rife in rugby now, shame school age kids are having to shove that stuff in them just to compete now

Cos it's schoolboy rugby you prick. It's not that difficult to brake a tackle at this level so there is incentive to run with the ball. At professional level springboks don't do the same thing because all 15 men on the field don't miss tackles
