My all time favorite rap album. Not sure how this doesn't get the credit it rightfully deserves, but I personally see this is a top 10 rap album of the past decade. Dark, gritty, masterful story-telling and lyricism along with unprecedented production. It ain't GKMC or TPAB, but Blank Face has always seemed to hang with the best.

The one constant in this album is its groove. Shawn Cee has an excellent reaction to this album and talks about how that groove is maintained througout. The baseline, and like you mentioned, it's got a bluesy vibe, are what constitute that groove. A very westcoast stylized album yet with a modern take. 10/10.
