Out of any sport I have ever watched, there is no sport that has more inconsistent officiating as world class arm wrestling. The league really needs to step up and do their best to circle the wagons on establishing a congruent standard to train the officials and remove the ones that fail the standards expected of them. It is only fair to the athletes. Not just about declaring a just victor, but preserving the health of the athlete as well. This sorely needs to be addressed!

What schoolboy does have is the knowledge of different techniques. I don't think Khaled knows that much technique, but his raw strength definitely got him through this one. If Khaled can get more training, then he can really be a monster.

Тут 05:10 Калед сидит с полностью прямой рукой, более того, она уже вообще в другую сторону начала выгибаться от Сашиного давления, а судьи в упор ничего не замечают. Что это за бред? То же самое было когда Виталик несколько раз прижал Чеффи к подушке, а ему вместо победы выписывали фолы за толчки (!), это просто абсурд.

Лалетин там из раза в раз тянет за пальцы Дейва к подушке, а тот пытается уйти и фолит локтем, но фол дают Виталию за якобы толчок, а чуть позже в точно такой же ситуации дают уже Дейву за отрыв локтя. А потом Дейв вообще стартует с утерянной кистью с трицепса и судьи тоже этого будто не замечали. Печальное судейство подпортило впечатление((

По поводу того, что Дейв в последних раундах разворачивал плечо- это да. Но по сути - это не было решающим фактором в его победе. Даже Виталя сказал, что Дейв боролся чисто. Виталя, действительно, выдохся уже к тому времени и шансов противостоять пресу чафи уже не было.. Но матч в любом случае был очень крутой!

After seeing the history of the kings move it seems as a desperation move that is very effective. Devon larrat has said he thinks it’s wrong to get rid of it and just be strong enough to counter it. Though it does seem like a rough technique sportsmanship wise

They should have a rule that if your arm goes straight (180 degrees), you lose. Same as if your hand hits the pad. It would still allow kings move as long as you can maintain some bend in your arm. It would eliminate the bs where you use your arm as a lever, locked upen, and you body weight below the table height.

@@wilko169 Nothing they policed the kings move depth better than 9/10 matches ever, gave him running fouls, he lost a match as a result. Khalid just ultimately stronger

Congratulations anyway and thanks a lot for showing off your dedication and strength in that competition! 💪That was an amazing display of armwrestling - nearly all matches without the strap! It was a very exiting competition. I would love to see an earlier callout on the ellbow in the Kings Move, like Khaled did in the beginning. In my opinion when the ellbow is off during the Kings Move, it should be a foul immediately. You lost a lot of energy there, working against it. Not too fair!

I mean I kinda wish that move was outlawed completely, it's just not fair and every fighter uses it when in a bad position. Either way Khaled was ahead in power in this one, you could see it. I'm sure Schoolboy can get his revenge on this one in 1-2 years, no doubt.

@@em4703 same thing I think. In about 2 years, School Boy will be a lot stronger and better experience in controlling his stamina and pain management. Certain things you only adquiere with age. Best of luck to both. I always did say from the weight in, to not sleep on Khalid. His fighting competitive spirit is a force to reckon with.

Schoolboy is just a classic Russian, his opponent cheats and he keeps fighting rather than bitching. I respect that.
