Korean film and television is definitely having a moment . They have a history almost as old as other film traditions and they are finally reaping the rewards. Parasite wins best picture at Oscar's Golden Globe and BAFTA. A veteran Korean actress wins a best supporting role Oscar all historic firsts. Squid game is now a threat for Golden Globes and Emmy's. I've watched many of these actors in film and TV on little known foreign language streaming sites and been in awe of their Talent. They deserve to be on top shows and acknowledged on the same level as their Western counterparts.
