As a matter of fact he accidentally became a father of two daughters with two different young women, but as often happened in the 1800s (this even happened to royal persons quite often), the girls died when they were still infants.

@@merikaramocan6774 People are often surprised to discover how promiscuous he was when reading his biography. For a man who espoused the horrors of the Will to Life he certainly engaged in his fair share of love affairs. I suppose it took one to know one. 😂

interesting stoic advice (12 min): Schopenhauer advises the stoic to be tolerant of smaller problems, and yet prior he advocates for the opposite, 'why 'forget' an experience if I can learn from it'.
