Guido is one of the nicest guys in the game (except for you of course 😂). Bert Meulendijk is also a great guy, and also makes super profiles. In general I prefer the profiles made by “sensible” European guys. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones. Have a great one!

I'm always amazed at how good the Kemper sounds. The difference to the “real” amp is so tiny that it’s not worth mentioning. I'm now 60 and have had and played many amps over the years, and I've now sold them all! I only play the Kemper Power via the Kemper Box and sometimes also via my two KRK monitors and I am more than satisfied with it. What I'm also thrilled about is how Carsten throws out the licks and riffs so easily and has a grin on his face, that's how it has to be, keep it up Carsten.

Hi Carsten, great video, very helpfull, but I would like to see setting of Amp for MeBo Dual Rock. I set everything as much as possible similar to your settings ( I have kemper player so efects are bit different ) but my sound is too dark. I asume amp tone stack should be adjusted. Your sound is great Thanks

Hello!! Great video!! Can I ask you a question? My band does around a 100 tunes. My question is that it seems that each rigs output volume to the board is never consistent. Our sound person has to tweak my volume on virtually every song. Any thought on how to level that out so it behaves like a miked amp? Thank you!!

Thank you so much Kevin! Always feel free to ask questions bro! The thing is: If you use different rigs, you not only have to deal with different volume levels but with different frequencies also. It's like playing 100 tunes with 50 different amps on stage but you only use one mic, if that comparison makes sense to you. You have to put in the work and try to make each rig as even as possible volume wise. That's a big task!

The MeBo duel rock rig from the rig buster channel sounds absolutely nothing like that. I am going straight in to a powered setup and not an amp with a Schecter C-7 Damien with EMG's. Am I missing something?

In the video you're listening to the main output. If you go through a powered setup, the speaker and power amp will of course color the sound also.

I thought about Headrush Prime but I could get several different thing for that much. You setup is kicking no doubt. Have a good one.

Hey Carsten, I love your playing and videos. I have a JVM 410 H. I mostly live on OD1 gain at 9 o’clock, and crunch gain 10 o’clock. I’ve had a Kemper for about 5 years, and I just can’t come close to my JVM. I tried your profiles of it ,and they sound great but there’s too much gain for my style? And when I lower the gain it loses the magic. Any suggestions?

Hey Ricardo! Thank you so much! Mhh I think I even profiled OD1 with gain at 9o'clock. 😄 When you play the JVM and the Kemper, are you using the same cab? I gave up on the idea trying to dial in the Kemper like my analog rig - it just doesn't work. A real cab compared to the main outs of the Kemper are two different worlds.

Carsten I’m actually using a Rivera mini rockrec power soak and it’s voicing bypass. Witch goes straight into our A&H QU 24. I haven’t used a speaker cab since the mid 90s. (Sound guys love me)I just want to use the Kemper straight into the board. Is there a way to profile my Jvm and Rockrec without a cab? I really appreciate your responses. I know you’re a very busy guy. Thanks so much

@@RicardoSalinas-fo5xk Mhh, it's just a power soak so you should be able to make a DI-Profile from your JVM by using the Direct out from your Rivera Rockrec. Hope this helps! ✌️

The actual profiles sound nothing like the sounds in this video. I tried them on my kemper and deleted them all right away. They sucked and my boss katana amp sounds better. Defo some post production going on here.

The same is true about a few other “profile sellers”. What you hear in the video isn’t what it actually sounds like without post production.
