We can’t blame Fritz for the theatrics. “Recreating the sun,” and “world’s most powerful laser” certainly sound like the makings of a James Bond movie! To be sure, no one is using the laser to cut through anything, cheese sandwich or otherwise - but it is leading the way toward a world powered by limitless clean energy.
Want to see how, exactly, the @LivermoreLab's National Ignition Facility and SCHOTT teamed up to recreate the power of the sun for the first time in human history?
Check out this article for a first-hand look at the researcher’s pioneering vision that was once thought impossible!

Continuously rethinking approaches with a pioneering spirit - that is what SCHOTT is all about. Hence, it's time for something that SCHOTT has never done before: “The Receptionist,” a series in TV quality.
𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇?
Every company needs heroes. Fortunately, SCHOTT has quite a few. Fritz, the man at the reception desk, is definitely one of them.
German actor and comedian @Kniggedy slips into the role of the fictional Fritz Klein, who has reigned over the SCHOTT front desk for 30 years. Firmly convinced that he is a great-great-great-grandson of Otto Schott himself, he never misses an opportunity to express his enthusiasm for specialty #glass.
Fritz is a loyal SCHOTT employee. He loves glass, he loves people. And most of all, he loves to inspire people through his passion for glass. Every now and then, he gets a little bit carried away. True passion can be overwhelming.
