In this video I will walk you through how to make a very profitable product from start to finish. It was one of the first things I made when i started my laser engraving journey, once I found that boxes are very simple to make with a laser.
I want to make a few things very clear. This video is for educational purposes only, YOU MUST do your own research when it comes to using any software, or using any content that you plan to make money from, I WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE. Terms and conditions are always changing in respect to the legalities to what is usable so make sure to always check before doing anything.
These lanterns or T Lights are really fun to make and the possibilities are endless when it comes to designing the artistic panels.
I hope you enjoy this video and have fun making your very own.

I need to practice more with lanterns. I'll admit I've only made one so far, but i need to figure out how best to set up my settings to cut them. I had quite a few spots that had too much burn on thinner sections. I need to figure a way around that on my diode laser before I can confidently start selling them. I was still able to assemble it and you can't tell once its painted, but still. I want to make sure its as nice as possible in the results without paint. Practice, practice, practice.

Indeed, practice makes perfect. I want to get a video out soon about a site called O2creativr.co.nz It's a fantastic website that produces a multitude of different tests. This site may be of help to you . I wish you all the best with your future laser projects.

Thank for the video and the information. I have one question: I didn't notice burn marks on the wood. How do you go about that?
@MadeBetterWithKnowledge
@MadeBetterWithKnowledge 19 күн бұрын
There were no burn marks on the outer edges of the boxes as they are made from solid wood. One of the reasons I love to use solid wood is that once sanded it leaves the natural wood behind. There is however burnt edges on the inside of the graphics and patterns.

Hi how are you!! I'm considering buying a diode laser cutting machine. However, I realized that caution is needed when dealing with MDF. Furthermore, I am wondering whether this precaution should be extended to other materials, especially since, regarding MDF, which is not widely discussed in Brazil, I had to seek information abroad. Although it is a topic that is rarely covered, I was concerned to discover that there is evidence that MDF may be linked to cancer, due to the gases that are produced during the laser cutting process. Unfortunately, I was unable to find information about the gases emitted when burning other materials, such as cardboard. Would you have any knowledge or information about this? Furthermore, I would like to know if there is some kind of exhaust cabin for this equipment, which is capable of filtering and cleaning these gases before they are released into the environment. Look at the answer I already had about this (if you're scared, just don't do it because everything in life causes some kind of harm to your health). Thank you in advance for your help and guidance. thanks ola tudo bem !!estou considerando comprar uma máquina de corte a laser de diodo.

Quick question- how long did the small box take to cut on the Artur 10W? Mine would take 3 hours at that thickness, which isn’t efficient enough (for me). I do have an 80w CO2 coming which will drop that considerably. Thanks for the tutorial, great work, good tips.

I will absolutely do more videos on lanterns. I will probably focus more on other shapes but will definitely look into doing more in the future. I am currently trying to sort out a shop to sell all my files, but there have been numerous hurdles I have struggled to get over. Hopefully, all the issues will have been worked out by the end of May.

If you are in the uk as I am. I use a timber supplier called clarkes of Walsham. It is a local building supplier. I will do some research on suppliers that can deliver so all my viewers can potentially use, and i will try to get that information in an upcoming video.

there is one problem with this design, if you put in the candle with the alluminium can around you can burn everything
@MadeBetterWithKnowledge
@MadeBetterWithKnowledge 18 күн бұрын
Yes, absolutely. If anyone is making anything out of wood, I would recommend using common sense and never introduce a flame of any kind to something that is potentially flamable. Fortunately, there are led lit flame like candles that can substitute a normal t light or wax candle
