I've had a case stockman for 23 years carried daily for 20. Used it for everything from cuting cake and sandwiches to whittling. Great knife style and very useful.

I got my imp16s. I believe the dimensions are the same, except the scales are grey. It is no masterpiece for sure, but definitely worth having. On mine, I had to reprofile the sheepsfoot blade which has a slight belly instead of a perfectly straight cutting edge . Sharpening was done with a 1000 grit stone, and finished with a Victorinox sharpening bar and a leather strop on all three blades. Apparently the IMP16S is included in later issues of the SRU-16/P parachute survival kit. So if you are willing to put in a couple of minutes to taking care of details, you can have a dependable tool for less than what you would spend on an average coffee stop.
