there is a fundamental flaw though with Schrodinger in this explanation he is offering......the fact that shod Inger can not change his mind and come back to life again AS LONG AS SOMEONE IS WATCHING HIM, because if you are watching him you are aware of his existence as a dead person or a living person, when alucard killed him in front of the queen he couldn't come back to life UNTIL none was watching.

It occurred to me that Shrodinger's cat's immortality is definable, with the death of everyone who cared/knew about him in millennium. (And since he is an artificial creation) The only way for him to truly die is to be completely forgotten. As he was only appearing where anyone who knew about the cat ever was. From Rip van winkle to Maxwell at the meeting. As long as someone knows he exists he can never die.

That's not even a requirement. His immortalality is defined as "cogito ergo sum" or "I think therefore I am" as long as he's self aware he exists. It took loosing himself in over three million souls to drag himself and Alucard into oblivion.

The explanation they gave isn't totally accurate. It wasn't cus Schrödinger was alive it was because Schrödinger was Schrödinger. Schrödinger ceased to exist when he was absorbed into Alucard and Alucard gained his abilities which pretty much split Alucard into in infinite number of himself across all of reality and every possible reality and timeline and because of his familiars the same thing happened to them as well, making an infinite number of infinite Alucards all existing at once and all linked directly to the original. He totally lost his ability to differentiate which of him was which and where and when so he effectively became a concept and not a person anymore. The explanation they gave isn't accurate. I don't know, I would say that while there are flaws in their description, I would say I don't think Aluicard in literally unstoppable. I think he has become weaker then he was before, while yes he has his base abilities and Schrodinger's "everywhere and no where" abilities, I would say that now he has lost the power he had from millions of souls. And if Schrodinger was so flat out powerful as some say, then he could have just attacked Alucard himself and won, especially after his fights with Anderson and Walter. I think the point is it is a story about a man who lost himself as the vampire dracula, and eventually found himself and his humanity again through Sera, Integra and his role as Alucard. Clearing out the other souls was his literal journey to finding himself again, but now on the power side of things, if he consumes other souls he would likely lose himself again. Potentially he could die still, the issue is whether or not Schrodinger can die. I think he likely can truly die, I agree with you he didn't fake his death, but since he chose it I guess the question would be whether or not he could be killed in some way outside of his choice. I tend to think that the ability is both powerful for the obvious reasons, but vulnerable, as when you make yourself tangible, to say fight and attack another monster, perhaps that means you are tangible and vulnerable to being hit back. Issue being that there isn't a lot of evidence to support this. Nothing that flat out says it is wrong, but not much to truly say this is true. But a major theme of the show is that "immortality is a lie" so I doubt that all of a sudden there is this truly unkillable undying entity that is literally immortal.

If that were the case he'd be lost hundreds of years ago. Vampires essentially dominate the soul of the individuals blood they consume, as a beings soul is in their blood (or something like that). When Alucard consumed Schrodingers blood it blurred the line between Alucards consciousness and thr millions of souls residing in him

if it took him 30 years then he's as good as defeated, were it not for Seras and Integra then Hellsing would be as good as destroyed. Millennium's goal was to die in glorious battle, Organization XIII's goal was a Crusade, and Hellsing's goal was to survive and exterminate freaks, and only 2 of the 3 succeeded

Never really liked this particular paradox as it's fundamentally flawed. It suffers from the same problem as "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound" sound doesn't require human observation to exist and a cat doesn't need to be observed to die from poison, eventually the cat will be dead with one hundred percent certainly. Frankly quantum physics is 10% practical and 10% verifiable information and 80% bull.

Just put the word "quantum" in front of it to sound intelligent, current sci fi trope, but has been around a decade or more. I hate these things. Also how little people actually know about it. For instance, D-wave claims to have put out a commercially available quantum computer ... all the way back in 2011. The concept of shrodingers cat is not a paradox it is a analogy for quatym superposition the cat being an unobserved particle therefore in a superposition until observed where the superposition collapses and the cat is either alive or dead from the poison in the box
