Fly works great, only complaint is that super glue and head cement both “bleach” the wing. What’s the other stuff you mentioned?

Gonna answer my own question...Sally Hanson's hard as nails doesn't bleach it.

I've tried tying this fly twice and threw them both in the trash. For some reason I can't get the turkey feathers to lie flat, can't seem to get enough hair on for the parachute, and I can't transition from the hackle to tying around the parachute. This is a frustrating one for me....any suggestions?

The further you wrap dubbing back over the wing the flatter it’ll get. Use more hair or tie in a different material like you would tie in wings and post it up. Maybe you’re an expert and expect the first two to be perfect, but, I would try it more than twice! The first few never look as good as the tenth.
