Sounds like an opera. Bill Kenny had a voice like an angel. Unfortunately, he is almost completely forgotten these days, or rather his influence on music. Although many people know him and the Ink spots through Fallout, hardly anyone knows that Bill Kenny was the role model of Elvis and many others.

This man sat the stage for EVERYONE not just Elvis. Clyde McPhatter, Eddie Kendricks, Jackie Wilson, Gene Mumford, Sonny Til, Tony Williams, Jimmy Beaumont, and Earl “Speedo” Carroll. That’s even. Cutting the list short! A lot of popular R&B and Doo Wop and even early rock stars took their delivery from Mr. Kenny.
