Die Fragen sind echt super, nicht so ein 0816-Quark. Es ist immer toll, Interviews von Leuten zu sehen, die sich nicht nur mit der Band auseinandergesetzt haben weil sie es müssen, sondern weil sie die wirklich mögen. Dadurch wirkt das ganze Interview dann gleich viel entspannter und authentischer und bei dir hat sich das auch in den Fragen wiedergespiegelt. Good interview. Re your question about "Take Me Down" - It helps to know some history, to make sense of that. Here ya go: The great bluesman Robert Johnson told the crossroads story more than once. He didn't invent it himself but as to who _did,_ it's impossible to say. The tale comes from West African polytheism...the same source for voodoo, santería, etc. In their belief, the spirit world coexists with the physical one, & the boundary between worlds is thin in certain places. One of those places is where two roads cross each other. If you want to summon a spirit then you have to go to the right place, as well as do other things. The slaves bought & imported into the US believed thus; with their time under their southern Protestant masters/owners, they learned Christianity & mixed that with what they remembered of the old African faith.
