My grandmother would often say that Schumann was the greatest lieder singer of all. Evn today she must be among the greatest.Thanks to incontrario motu for this rarity.

I cannot recall a more perfect lieder singer, she's blessed with the composers interaction to the joint marriage. Gerald Moore the perfectionist lieder pianist only would accompany the best. Fascinating.
