The school choir sang this at my wedding as we signed the register. Reduces me to tears every time.

Way back in 1978, my school chorus performed this, and I am so happy to find this and sing along. I was a second soprano back then. Thanks for posting this!

I really love this video. These choristers are the best I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot. I think they could all be professional singers. I am in heaven too listening to their beautiful voices. I agree that this is the best version I have ever heard - and the best on KZbin. Well done girls.

Please can anyone tell me who was the arranger of the words of this beautiful piece. I sang this many, many years ago to these words and am now required to sing a different arrangement of the words - and I don't like this new one!

Guys, we're featured and everything... KZbin fame? Yes. Is anyone else slightly embarrassed by our sharpness? Bitchy acoustic in that church. PS. I WANT TO GO BACK TO DEUTSCHLAND. PPS. To the awfully kind authors of the comments below - thank you on behalf of all of the girls. PPPS. Girls, guess who I am (I'm not a creepy stalker, so that rules Evie out).

@SingYourSocksOffXD YOOHOO FURBS. This is true, you're your own worst critic after all... The church was a pain in the bum. I think we overcompensated for the rubbish acoustic in some parts. It's weird how you can pick out individual people's voices though, my mum always said she could and now I see what she means! I can hear Ellis loud and clear and Furbs at some points and Evangeline quite often, too. LOL at 3:57 ish, that entry we could never do. So almost a catastrophe.
