A good tip with this helmet, if you are riding in rain, keep the secondary vent open above the main one on the chin, this prevents moisture building up around the pinlock, does make your face cold though, so i toggle this for 20 mins or so to help keep the insides clear

I bought a C5 then adapted the interior using the long oval kit and am delighted with it. Overall the build quality feels less than my Arai's but as a flip front helmet it works well for summer touring. Great review of the E2!

Will the E2 accomodate goggles? great video!

It'll accommodate them (just), but they will look terrible (in my opinion) and you'll lose the ability to lift the chinbar. Cheers, Tony

Tony, is Schuberth sizing consistent? Would I buy an E2 in the same size as my C3 Pro?
@sportsbikeshop10 ай бұрын
Yes, it's broadly consistent. I wore the same size E2 as I did C3 Pro, so that would be the best starting point. Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony, I am in the market for a middle of the range adventure helmet with an internal drop down visor (not modular), options in my part of the world are LS Explorer Carbon, Scorpion ADF 9000 and Airo Commander, could you please share which one you believe is most worthy of one's hard earned cash? thank you for your sober and objective reviews, regards from South Africa

Hi Francois, I have no experience of the Airoh Commander so it wouldn't be fair to comment on that one. Of the other two, I thought the ADF-9000 was excellent and I personally would choose that over the LS2 Explorer. The LS2 is also a very good helmet and I'd happily take one of those on if the Scorpion's fit didn't suit my head. Our review of the ADF-9000 is here... kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZCkmKeqrNiFbbs and the Explorer is here... kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX2rqnqQlNGkjZI Cheers, Tony

Offers buying the comms at the same time?
@sportsbikeshop11 ай бұрын
Buy comms at the same time as the helmet and you'll not pay VAT on the intercom. This saving is applied automatically at the checkout on our site. Cheers, Tony

I'll have a word with the boss. If he extends our store expansion plan to cover Canada then I'm definitely coming! Cheers, Tony

Nope say no to heavy helmets . It's ridiculous with these new standards they should really try to lessen the weight anything more than 1.7 should be banned
@roadwarrior856011 ай бұрын
Too much weight on your neck for a long time can't be good. if you are wearing a good lightweight highly rated helmet I'd wager it's better for your overall health and comfort levels.
@Dylzhaar11 ай бұрын
What on earth did they do to make a carbon composite helmet weigh over 1.8kg it's absolutely ridiculous. You'll get a bicep work out just dragging it round the shops.
@seandonnelly2059 ай бұрын
@flippy5118 You're not wrong. The balance of a helmet is as much a factor as the weight of a helmet. A lightweight, but poorly balanced helmet can cause you more grief than a heavier well well-balanced one.
