How do these compare to TCX Infinity 3 mid boots (apart from the waterproofing on Infinity)?

Scorpion Exo-Tech Evo Cabon here. It's tightening a lot when closing indeed but that becomes less of an issue when the lining gets older and thinner. I find it to be very comfortable and I ride with it open most of the time. Noise is not an issue for me because I use Alpine custom earplugs and that takes away 26dB. With the helmet closed and a scarf underneath to break windnoise it becomes silent enough for longer rides.

The only thing you have to be careful about when buying this brand here is that the warranty says they give you 2 years and then before the 2 years if water gets into your product. They say they are not responsible and the warranty does not cover it. In other words, you lose your money because they are a bit of a liar. That is the only thing you have to be careful about when buying this product here, because they are not responsible, they are totally liars. I bought this product here and after a year and six months I sent it in for warranty twice because it was leaking due to the same problem. The third time, they told me that the warranty was not responsible because I had used it too much. They wanted me to buy the product and put it away in the closet so I wouldn't use it, of course.

How do you think it would do in Arkansas in the summer at 95 deg and 90% humidity? I'm worried it might run too hot. If not this, then can you suggest a more appropriate RST jacket for hot and humid?
@sportsbikeshop
@sportsbikeshop 2 күн бұрын
I think this would be good in those weather conditions if you want this length. You'd get more airflow from an RST Adventure-X, though it costs more. If you are happy with a waist-length jacket, the RST Ventilator-X will give more airflow as there are sections of mesh on the front. Links to those reviews... @@sportsbikeshop Thanks, I ordered the Ventilator XT, RST Kevlar jeans and the belt loop connector from you guys. Weird how nothing is in stock in the US (not just RST, but all European imported gear.) Maybe it's because of the time of year. But RST in general isn't well represented here. Not sure why. I saw a different RST jacket at a dealer, and it was obviously every high quality at a good price.

In case this helps anyone I was wearing an RPHA 70 carbon in an M. I upgraded to the RPHA 1 due to issues i had with my particular helmet and went with the medium size RPHA 1 on sale. The aerodynamics are very noticeable when riding and the vents are incredibly good. I stayed cool the whole ride home. The increase in peripheral vision is amazing, i dont have to turn my head anywhere near as much as i did with my 70. Tho my nose makes contact with the nose guard due to the closer chin so i took it out. My issue is that the padding that sits behind the ear can be sharp and occasionally ill put it on and it will stab my ear but i di have harder ears that do come out a decent amount so others may not experience this. The chin curtain that comes with it is slightly wider than it should be. But my ride home was awesome and very relaxing.

The 17/19-inch wheel version is below 500 pounds wet weight compared to the heavier DE. If you plan to ride pavement 90% of the time this is probably the more sensible version of the bike to have, and for the few times you want to run in the dirt, some knobby tires in 17/19 would solve that, although not as stable overall than 21-inch. Cast wheels are tougher than people think.
