The time travel in this movie ironically makes more sense and more consistent than the time travel in Endgame. Back to the Future has no real time travel plot holes I can think of, while Endgame easily has at least 5 I can think of.

I feel like the laughter was a result of them not knowing just how profoundly epic this movie is and was going to be. Their awkward laughter shows us that they didn't quite yet grasp the weight of what they just saw. Nowadays, laughter? No. Maybe cheers, hell, maybe even TEARS. But above all a a silent and profound admiration for just how beautiful this moment is.

What I love about this scene. Gorge has been a pushover this whole movie, too scared to fight back, and is used. He get's the girl of his dreams to fall in love with him, and knocks out his bully, by himself. Yet is still pushed around, and he accepts it, but at the last minute, he remembers how great it was to strand up for himself, and he get's his girl back, and has that strength to kiss her.

I was too shy... we danced and everything, and when the party had finished we were going back to the parking lot and she stopped me and took my hand and asked me if I had nothing to ask... I was just smiling (I was so nervous!!) and she asked me again the same question and I said to her " well I'm speechless, but let's see if you understand this...(and I kissed her ...) now we are married and we have 3 beautiful kids of 16,15 and 14 years old... I know it word for word, the sequels are also great, and I’ll still be watching the trilogy till I leave this Earth! One can't help but feel the suspense when Marty notices that he's vanishing from the photo, and the creepiness gets worse when he's seeing his hand fade out, with that rapid heartbeat going on in the music score. That mutual smile he and George share together afterwards is touching. George only knows Marty as a good friend, not knowing what he's done, but Marty understands perfectly; his future family existence is secured. All in all, a beautiful scene from one of the greatest sci-fi films of the 80s.

My only minor complaint about this scene is where Marty uses what he thought might be his last breath to call for “George” to kiss his mom. It would seem more likely that if he really thought this might be it, he’d call out for “Dad” to kiss his mom. Still gives me chills nonetheless.

The timing of everything in these scene is just phenomenal but what makes this scene the best movie scene in cinema history is that godamn wave that hits so hard! George grew some balls inadvertly changing his life but saving Marty's aswell while not even knowing the power of his actions! He didn't do it for any reason other than pure love and love is that one thing, that one emotion that can change anything! That wave for me is a sign of a man who is simply in love and thanking a guy who helped push him in that direction! It works on so many lvls it is insane how a story so simple can be executed in such an emotionally deep detailed thoughtful way! Bravo🧡
