Schultz Creek Trail in Flagstaff Arizona (Top to Bottom)

Schultz Creek is one of my favorite trails in Flagstaff. It's fun, fast and flowy!
This video is the second part of the group ride we did with Valley Epic Rides. The first part was Sunset Trail, the video posted before this one.
I decided to share the entire ride on Shultz, top to bottom. This way you can see the whole trail if you want. I'll provide the trailforks info below.
My buddy Brandon is riding in front of me and then Bo in front of him. Brandon has a lawn dart (OTB) moment towards the middle to end of the video. If you'd like to see his perspective of the crash I'll post that link below was well!

You're right it's a pretty sweet trail. Also he's very lucky. From what I remember his front tire was grabbed by a Trail Gnome, that lil sucker had a death grip on it and over he went! He's cleaned it before...if you listen in the video right before he hits it he says, "this part it awesome." If not for that Gnome he'd been fine. 😆

Thanks for another great upload. Due to some serious injuries I am unable to ride outdoors however I do ride along while watching you on my stationary bike. It's the next best thing

Oh man, sorry to hear you're out with an injury but happy I can provide something to watch while on the trainer! That's actually what I do sometimes when I train for a race, watch the video of the course and mimic it on the trainer...helps me memorize it too. Hope your recovery is quick :)

Wow that looks like such a beautiful place to ride. I loved the pace you kept and would love to try and keep up. I am currently moving from Omaha down south to either Texas or Arizona for work and think you just helped me make up my mind. Great video!

Arizona has a LOT to offer for outdoor enthusiasts. It's really hard to go wrong. Flagstaff is nice in the summer as an option to get out of the heat of say Phoenix or Havasu. Winter months and Spring/Fall are amazing in PHX and Havasu/Sedona. SO MANY OPTIONS for trails in those places and lots of variety for terrain. Shultz is one of my favorites in Flag, pure joy! Flag also has a pretty sweet bike park with pump tracks, jump lines, drops, wood features, rock features etc... Can't say anything good or bad about Texas...not much experience other than driving through. Cheers to new adventures for you!

How do I find this trail just type in Shultz trail flagstaff az? Do u ride up and the cruise down? I’ve only ridden here in Goodyear area been riding for about 4 months and want to start riding new trails so sorry if some questions are a little goofy

What was the exact loop route you rode?

I'm trying to remember this trip. We might have just climbed up Shultz and then came back down...or this might have been the trip where we climbed up Eldon Rd to the top of Sunset (where the radio towers are) and then came down Sunset and possibly another trail and finished on Shultz which dropped us back at our vehicles. Hope this helps. There is also a road option to get to the top which the riders coming down appreciate.
