I wouldn't recommend it. On that side, dirt bikes and everyone would have ride a way. Only fair since MTBs have all the land on the other side of the Highway to themselves (and hikers). Just means you gotta get a Dirtbike ;)

Could you send a way to contact the shuttle service. I can’t find anything on Google so I looked through your transcript of this entire ride and the information and I couldn’t find it. Maybe it’s just me but any help would be appreciated since I’m going to be in that area this summer and I would prefer to do rides that are up high altitude, considering the temperatures that time of year.

How exposed is that top section? Thinking of taking my kids (12 and 13) on it, but not a fan of super exposed edges!

I would not recommend this trail with kiddos but I don't know your kiddos. I have a friend whose Daughter is very skilled and controlled, I'd consider taking her on it but even then...the risk to reward ratio is not there. There are several spots where if the perfect storm happened, it wouldn't be good. Pedal and/or handlebar strike could be very bad. I also believe the way I did this trail is no longer possible, as the gate entrance has been replaced with a solid fence. Last I heard, it has to be accessed from the Cowboy Trail Network which would make the distance on this much different; it's been a very long time since I've rode this.

Flow job is fun, though I like to come up goat roper from the north. The real gem is next door to Flow Job, and that's Ebb N Flow. If you ever ride cowboy again, ride up goat roper and do Ebb.

I believe elite military branches will promote ice cold showers at 4 in the morning. It has been proven to speed up recovery.

I love Apache Trail, I have a Liv. Your reel helps me measure the loop. I've only done a little loop a t Apache but thank you, it gives me confidence. I'm more anxious not on my strength, but anxious about venturing far in the desert. This is a great video.

Hey Donna, Greetings from Western Colorado. Very fun to watch this vid again. A friend, who will be riding there with us there this year, sent and it will be fun to return. You rode "Left Hand Bunker", measured from the trailtail. The lower singletrack was not there when we were there last time. Looks like great fun. Cheers!

Some people eschew e-bikes because the point of riding a bike is to ride a bike, not ride along on a moped. Climbing is the best part of mountain biking. When you practice it, you find that you can make up time uphill rather than bombing downhill putting life and limb at risk. If “purist” means not being lazy and actually pedaling your own bike yourself, then I think it’s more appropriate to call e-bike riders “contaminated.” 😉

Beginner** Noob** but forgive me for noticing just how fast and in control you are, its like watching art man. your vibes are exopressed, to us viewers to get a sense of you lol.. going that fast, to where you’re on par with oxygen. this speed is what i chase. just bought my first MTB and i am ready to go man. ready to suck, be afraid and crush that inner bitch i have.. motivating stuff, ty !

I'm laughing because these climbs are rough. I agree on ebikes. Open up trails and stop discriminating. Those who use them get a heck of a work out. Class 1 of course. Maybe ridge to rivers will finally get set straight on this.
