Album for the Young (Album für die Jugend), Op. 68, was composed by Robert Schumann in 1848 for his three daughters. The album consists of a collection of 43 short works. Unlike the Kinderszenen, they are suitable to be played by children or beginners. The second part, starting at Nr. 19 ("Kleine Romanze"), is marked Für Erwachsenere (For adults; For more grown-up ones) and contains more demanding pieces.

For measure 23 left hand, the key is b and I’m a bit confused about how to play that part, is it just hold it down for the whole measure until the g key or different? Because it’s two same key next to each other and I’m not sure how to play it, could you help me? Thank you

I have a lot of experience :) In general it is not harder than reading a book :) But you need the practice for it like everything else :)

What do you do in the measure 22? In the base clef, there is a half note b and quarter and a dot note b together. How do you

It's bar 21 :) And it is because of the 3 voices. You hold the b for as the entire bar. I use the pedal so I released it a bit early but it's still there :)

@@StanislavStanchev I’m an adult now so I don’t feel comfortable going to a teacher. It will be all kids there. I had lessons before but it wasn’t so good now I realize. I had a Korean teacher and Korean teachers just teach czerny and it’s very boring. And they don’t teach any music theory. I learned about intervallic reading of notes by learning from Faber books. I didn’t even learn that before although I did Beyer and then czerny op 139.
