External mic your videos. Nonetheless a wonder to watch. Also, cardboard pin trays are so yesterdays dreams. Need to get that fixed. Keep it coming. Looking forward to next week.

Not so horrible. It's good to know there are some locks out there which are so pick resistant. I would say, it's still quiet. I would prefer a boost in audio of at least 10dB. I was able to compensate (by 10dB) using PulseAudio to boost the audio of Firefox.

I imagine you could pick it like a regular lock quite simply, minus the security pins, if you made a tension wrench in the same shape as the key only hollowed out(like the letter C) with a bar attached to it that would stick out of the lock, and working the pick through the hole, if you get what I mean.

Does anyone know where to get a inexpensive pinning tray an/or a cheap way of making one - besides folding cardboard/paper??

Hahaha, yeah, if want to shoot your indie cred all to heck. Just kidding. I like the guys at CLK Supplies quite a bit, they have the classic LAB tray: www.clksupplies.com/shop/lab-pin-work-mat-p-1046.html but personally I prefer the compact wooden LAB tray: www.clksupplies.com/shop/lab-wood-block-pinning-tray-p-1019.html And for style you can't beat the very good looking Sparrows mat: www.sparrowslockpicks.com/product_p/sparrows%20mat.htm I just wish they had left off the massive logo that takes up 50% of the space, though that's just because I value portability. If you are working in a shop instead of wherever the heck you find yourself, I think it would be a fine option. If you have access to a dremel or a chisel and some wood, you can easily bang out a simple tray yourself, actually. And I've recently picked up some model railroad house shingles - basically very small corrugated plastic - that is slim enough to keep a pinning tray in my wallet at all times, so expect to see that in some future vids.

The old Taiwanese "Golden Mean" locks from the 1970s are very similar.

What say you bosnianbill ? Got a link for us? Glad to hear my picking theory was correct at least! I should give it another shot sometime. I should make a new series where I only show locks he hasn't picked...but I'd probably only be able to find 3 or 4 :)
