Schwarzbier is one of my favourite beer styles. Underrated!

The hair dye matches perfectly with this beer. I'm looking forward to the next video, hoping for a red ale!

Ha! If I dyed my hair you wouldn't see those streaks of silver on the side. All Natural!

I was planning on brewing this recipe with just a minor twist. Just wondered if the 37 day lageringtime you propose would (or should) be option 1 or 2 of the following: 1 - Keep it at least 37 days in the primary fermentationvessel after the diacetylrest and then bottle the beer. (I was not planning on using a secondary fermentationvessel); or 2 - Bottle the beer directly after diacetylrest and bottlelager for at least 37 days. Could you add a temperatureschedule for the lageringpart of the recipe? Thanks in advance! And I'm looking forward to brewing this beer next weekend.

I've done both with success.

This is quite interesting, your recipe isn’t that far from mine. Og 12.9 P 53% Pilsner, 40.6% Munich 2, 6.4% midnight wheat (cold steeped) Mash at 67 for 30, and 70 for 30 (given inaccuracy might have just kept one temp) 1.9g/L Hallertau (first wort), 1.25g/L tett @ 15 and 5. Using m76 Bavarian lager yeast @ 11 It was great beer, and thinking I could turn it into a Baltic Porter. The midnight wheat was to avoid roast that I hate, but it also has a little too much in it - would half it next time.
