It only took a single ride on the 'Magnum' at the Minnesota State Fair for me to proclaim this my favorite flat ride of all time. It is absolutely insane with its 4 circles of motion (main platform, individual hubs, and the horizontal and vertical spinning of each car), yet it always feels incredibly smooth. I could go on this multiple times and not get sick (while a simple Pirate Ship ride, with its rocking motion, can easily induce nausea in me). I didn't know that the earliest version didn't have inverting cars. Definitely would leave a lot to be desired, if that were my first experience. Sadly, I haven't been on the 'Magnum' since my last trip to MN many years ago (the family I used to visit there moved east, so we no longer have reason to go). I'd love to see this appear at the Meadowlands State Fair, but I've yet to see it show up there. I don't know of any closer locales to find this. Nice video as always. Thx again!

The magnum makes an appearance at the Florida State Fair every year. By far the most intense flat ride I’ve ever ridden and easily my favorite. The girlfriend chickened out 😂

Some nice-to-know trivia: when the Center Shake was owned by Belgian showman Derieuw back in 1994-1997, it was called "Donna Shake". It was named after the Belgian/Flemish radio station "Donna" and the center piece featured the radio station's logo. This collaboration between Derieuw and radio Donna was probably because radio Donna's co-founder (Michel Follet) is a huge funfair enthusiast. The Donna Shake was also my first and only experience with the back and forth rocking gondolas.

The Commander owned by Hanstein is a magic place. The first step you set on the flore, you get succed in the awesome sounding music. The sound system is from Ulhenbrock and with the roof.... man o man, that sounds amazing! If you can visit the Commander, walk on, go to the back and just listen en enjoy the setting. It's special. Mondial Shake is awesome. Have bin on 3 so far. The amond of turning upside down is random, but you can force it by rocking back and forward. Hanstein and Schäfer like to start the ride sycle slow so you can swing the gondels yourself. It's fun. If you and your co-rider are is sinc with your movements, you can make a ride sycle very intens!

I really wanna ride Commander... Last winter I almost went to the Cranger Weihnachtszauber, but then I realized that there was no show there and that they only played christmas music... So I scrapped that plan. I really hope I can get to ride it soon!

Why did Fabbri remove Shaker Dance from the line? It had also launched the Fly Wind in 1997, which only had a fixed prototype in Brazil that was dismantled in 2023.

I rode Commander last December and i got thrown around like a rock in a Blender! I still was very fun! I hope i get to ride the King Loop soon! PS: In my opinion was Aigner's "Insider" the most beautiful Shake!

The accident with the Commander did not happen at a fair in Bremen. The owners actually are from Bremen. Nottingham UK was the name of a company which is more famous for making the Miami rides you see pretty much everywhere in the UK. They also built Crazy Shake
