We this made out here in Canada as part of Crazy8s Film Competition where we had 8 days to film and complete it (this doesn’t include pre-production, but does include post). Everything you’ll love about this I credit to an incredible community of cast and crew who came out to support my weird vision. Honestly I liked this short film, as cheesy at it was at times I found the entire thing not only relatable but surprising and funny. Had the right tones set at the right times and definitely wasn’t expecting it to self actualize into THAT thing 😂 wholesome ending too 👍🏻

I seldom rate videos on this channel but this one was surprisingly great! The actors executed their lines and blocking perfectly. Even more impressive was pulling it all off without the whole thing turning campy, something that is REALLY hard to find in short-form, dark comedies like this one. Keep it up guys!

I enjoyed this. Hearing an Asian Indian mom utter the 'f-word' was just so surprising; basing this off of all the Asian Indian moms whose homes I had the good fortune, to grace. Love the reconciliation of both mom-in-law and daughter-in-law, and then mother and son.

👏👏👏 I really like this one! The mom/son relationship & the mom/her MIL relationship both got better. The crazy/defective AI was overcome. Plus a small dig about people (mostly guys) not reading directions. 😂 Good acting. Personal drama, scifi action, & comedy in a story with a beginning, middle & end like a story should be regardless of its length! 👏👏👏

After after he graduated from high school and had a job, while he was considering college, my brother decided to stay. My parents made him pay rent. Wasn’t a free ride! When I went on a tangent like this guy to dad when I was 13, because I hated house rules he packed my suitcase. Gave a choice. Stay or go. Yeah obviously I changed my tune. Even the roof over my head wasn’t a given. It was a choice for my parents. Nothing was owed to my brother and I. This guy has a problem. He’s there because mom lets him stay.
