GG aliens. You killed a frail but loving granny and her coragerous 10 years old grandson, both probably starved and dehydrated. Exterminatus it is then.

What scares humans By Cid Gaius (hopefully this is original) Ilana sat listening quietly as the soldier caste argued amongst themselves about their human crewmates exploits . With their reckless attitude and unpredictable nature, it quickly became a tradition in every ship’s galley in the 100 years since they joined the galactic council. Every story would start off like some tall tale, the more wild and and unbelievable it was the most likely it was true. And the soldier with the best story won. Tonight’s current contender was a Litharian, a large predatory lizard, and his story about his human eating a plant from colbus 5. Where every plant evolved to destroy herbivores. “After he got out of medba, he said it’d go well with chicken!” The story was almost enough to make Ilana’s shell twitch. “Does anything scare them?” Asked a Sental, a small vulpine like creature, his antenna waved excitedly. Before the others had a chance to respond Ilana seized her chance. “Oh yes, lots of things *scare* humans, but I know what terrifies them” Ilana chuckled. She was an engineer by trade and rarely allowed to participate in the tale telling with soldiers. But the mention of something that terrifies a human piqued their curiosity. “Go on engineer...” the Litharian muttered. “Tell us what you believe can scare a human” Ilana smiled, something she had learned from working on a human ship. baring teeth wasn’t something her species did. “The one thing that all humans fear and I assure you, will send them running faster than any varbec. If you’re smart you’ll run too...” Ilana’s smile widened “...The most terrifying thing to a human is when their engineer says ‘oops...’ “

Three things to remember with humans. Never count them out of a fight unless they can be confirmed as dead, even then don't always count them out. Never underestimate the smaller specimens, and what any human can and will do to survive. If a human engineer says 'oops' amd starts to run, be faster.

Story: I was doing some research into space travel. I had put most of my fortune into creating a gravity tug. I made a breakthrough into warp drive. It involved negative matter, which while theoretically possible was never proven to be fact. I kept the the results to myself. I went to an uninhabited star system and started building my own planet. What I did after that is a story for another time.
