Great video(again!) Would you have any videos with pathology of the sciatic nerve in this region, Bridie?

wish i could find someone in my area that could look at me like this. feels like my sciatic nerve is tethered to my hamstring about 2 inches below the origin.

please pardon as i am not medically knowledgeable, but is there a better way to see the structures such as the sciatic nerve? it seems like this ultrasound requires a highly trained and knowledgeable interpretation to deduce the structures shown. like, what other scanning option are there?

Wow, amazing ! What is tour ultrasound machine?

You can find these on canon, Philips Epic, GE LE9 you just need to optimise frequency and settings. Abdominal probes work well for this area when difficult.

Thank you so much. I have a GE 10 but it is difficult to set appropriately.

@@kuenwoolee1590 try a vascular preset, experiment outside the box. I like the carotid factory preset on the older GE’s and tweak it to suit shoulder tendons on some patients.
