Have used this bag for the last 3 years for multiple trips up to Seattle, and one time each to Austin, Tenerife, and Malaysia with some inter-island travel in the latter. Never had an issue with damage and love how quickly you can tear down and reassemble the bike since you don’t have to remove the bars or saddle. I do wrap tubes with pipe insulation I got from Home Depot and also built a PVC pipe “protector” for the bars to keep the levers from getting banged around in transit.

Really like the bag. So do baggage handlers - so buy a set of spare wheels (you'll thank me later). When in transit, this bike bag spends most of its time on its side - which is why people may have issues with levers etc. So, go to a department store and buy one of those hard foam rollers that is wider than your handlebars and fits snuggly into that bag space. Then get a box cutter and carve out a space for the hoods and computer mount. Lastly, remove the derailleur. . . Cheers and happy and safe travels 👍

Got mine recently and very impressed with the quality and design. Hopefully bike will be ok on my flight from Ireland to LHR next month

Mine survived its first flight! Granted it was only San Diego to Seattle but still. 🙏🏼

Bought one and very happy with it...I remove the pedals and the rotors when I travel, just a safety measure. Great padding for the top tube and handlebars.. the padding for the saddle is way too small though... and my 56 size bike is the max that bag can hold. I doubt ppl with 57 58 or above frame sizes can fit the bike into the bag...but great product

Mine’s closer to a 57, fits no problem. My large Vitus went in there at a 57-58 equivalent as well. Saddle height might be a thing but I’ve got a pretty long inseam and it was no problem. 🤝🏼

@@WaltDoesBikes my problem is only that I feel like there is too much pressure on the handlebars once the bag is closed...other than that, the bike flew 4 times with absolutely no problem.

Thanks for the video! Do you pay any fees when flying with this bag?

Hi, does it include AEROCOMFORT HANDLEBEAR pads?
@WaltDoesBikes5 ай бұрын
Hey! It does. They worked really well for me to protect my carbon aero bars. I believe I selected the extra frame protection kit so I’m not sure it would’ve included them otherwise.

Donyou have issues with the gearshift because they are so exposed?
@WaltDoesBikes3 ай бұрын
I have not, yet. I did have one somewhat kicked in that looked like it had been bumped pretty good but not even close to what I’ve done to them racing crits 😆

Will you be doing an ultrahuman ring update? Love the video!

@@WaltDoesBikes 🤣🤣🤣 they used to have a video on their channel with the pro cyclist trying to pronounce their name… but all their products are great. I’ve a couple of their kit bags and shoe bags and a pair of their areoshade glasses. Oh! And their NASA jersey and bibs! Really top quality kit.
