There are no changes in colour and both of them are water and the different colours are add to the different temperatures of the water and the colours don't mix because they are at different temperature and the cold water is denser than the hot water so the hot water does not go down and the cold water does not go up (hot water colour is yellow and the cold water is orange
My conclusion is that even if it is the same material it won't mix if the density is different and in this experiment the water did not mix the yellow coloured water and the orange colored water and the density is changed by heating only one coloured water so that they have different density and this experiment is to prove that if the density is different they don't mix
