Exactly!! According to the Nobel prize winner Sir William Bragg…. “Religion and science are opposed ... but only in the same sense as that in which my thumb and forefinger are opposed - and between the two, one can grasp everything. - (Sir William Bragg, Nobel Prize in Physics). No religion ever created a weapon with the potential to destroy our children and grandchildren’s future at the press of a button (nuclear weapons) for this kind of monstrosity you need secular twentieth century science/secular technology and physicists and scientists who believe that morality is nothing more than an arbitrary subjective preference, an arbitrary subjective taste, an arbitrary social construct, that is arbitrary cultural relativism, that is as arbitrary as the fact that we evolved five fingers instead of six. Furthermore, according to Johnathan Sacks the prominent public intellectual, philosopher, author and head of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth…. “Since Hiroshima and the Holocaust, science no longer holds its pristine place as the highest moral authority. Instead, that role is taken by human rights. It follows that any assault on Jewish life - on Jews or Judaism or the Jewish state - must be cast in the language of human rights.”(Rabbi Johnathan Sacks). Equally, according to the prominent historian professor Victoria Smolkin the communist party based itself on atheism and science…. “Of more than fifty thousand Orthodox churches on the territory of the RSFSR in 1917, fewer than a thousand were left in 1939." - [Victoria Smolkin, A Sacred Space is Never Empty: A History of Soviet Atheism, Princeton, 2018, [p. 49] “The news today about 'Atomic bombs' is so horrifying one is stunned. The utter folly of these lunatic physicists to consent to do such work for war-purposes: calmly plotting the destruction of the world! Such explosives in men's hands, while their moral and intellectual status is declining, is about as useful as giving out firearms to all inmates of a gaol and then saying that you hope 'this will ensure peace.” (J.R. Tolkien 1945). “HAIL SCIENCE”

BYZANTINE ( ROMAN EMPIRE ) ASTRONOMY FROM A.D. 1300 EMMANUEL A. PASCHOS Department of Physics, University of Dortmund, Germany. ”…A Byzantine (Roman), article from the 13th century contains advanced astronomical ideas and pre-Copernican diagrams. The models are geocentric but contain improvements on the trajectories of the Moon and Mercury. This talk presents several models and compares them briefly with the Astronomy of Ptolemy, Arabic Astronomies of that time and the heliocentric system…” “……In contrast to Western Europeans "the Arabs had virtually full access to that, Greek, heritage from the eighth century onward. This occurred because of a momentous translation effort whereby the great works of Greece and other cultures were translated in Arabic". Later on (12th and 13th centuries) the classical knowledge was transmitted to Western Europe through Byzantine and Arabic sources and Irish monks who travelled across Europe founding monasteries and scriptoria..….” “ …The Shape of the Earth It is generally believed that everybody who read Aristotle knew that the earth is spherical. The shape of the earth is not mentioned explicitly in "The Schemata of the Stars", but in five diagrams the earth is drawn as a spherical globe. In figure 2 I show two of the diagrams for solar and lunar eclipses where the earth is spherical. The article was written some 200 years before the voyage of Columbus to America and here we have one more evidence that the Byzantines considered the earth to be spherical. Arabic astronomy also considered the earth to be spherical. An exception to this rule is an article by Cosmas Indicopleustes who wrote the "Christian Topography" around A.D. 550. There he describes the earth to be flat with an inclination relative to the sun, which explained the divisions of day and night. This simple view was not taken very seriously and it was not thought worthy of mention by medieval commentators…”

At first I wasn’t big on that prophecy being a proof of divine revelation to skeptics. But realizing how few people were selected to actually burn incense at the temple and what a privileged and honor it was to be part of the priesthood to offer food and sacrifice. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity if you were ever selected to engage in that activity at the time the prophecy was written. To allow outsiders to do such a thing to even consider the implications was so taboo to the Jewish mind it must have been considered borderline heresy to make that prediction.

Evolution is true. Throughout history, both Jesus and Christians have viewed the Creation story in Genesis as a parable. Remember, the primary purpose of the Bible is always THEOLOGICAL, not historical or scientific. Read in the original Hebrew, it is fairly obvious that this is a parable. The Creation narrative tells us that God created a good Cosmos, but humans messed it all up through sin.

@@theredreceivers Basically, yeah. There are obvious differences between studies of ‘evolution’ and studies of ‘gravity’ that shift the implications quite a bit, of course, but the main point stands. The belief in the intelligibility of a universe that works by generally consistent laws and in an organized system of careful observation to investigate them (science/natural philosophy) is a different thing from believing a specific model produced in the course of such investigation.

What i really love about Chrisitanity is that ive never heard a Christian question Gods power, its always muslims that do, which is ironic because Allah is almighty, therefore he can do whatever? This is ONE of the reasons i stayed away from Islam, i was influenced by muslims to read the Quran and study and thats what i did and became a Christian. More or less, it was muslim that made me want to stay away from Islam to be truly honest, i asked questions and they answered, when i asked more questions and kept asking questions i was either called Islamphobic, uneducated or even Kufar lol. I realised that you cant question Islam, the moment you slightly disagree or ask a logical question youre being attacked. In conclusion, even Judaism makes more sense.. or Hinduism.

Malachi is thought by some to be written by Ezra. But I do not think so. I do not read that Ezra anywhere thought that he had to use a pen name because of fear of reprisals. And some words used give a bit later dating for the Script . And Ezra was setting up the temple system again . Malachi is addressing an established priesthood and temple system. Likely written after Ezra had done his work. So probably written in 440-400 BC as many scholars think. So the prophecy is around 2300 years before the events not 2600 years.

The rabbis didn’t have any prophets handy around 445 BC, so they had to invent one to give legitimacy to their further demands upon the Jews. “Malachi” means “my messenger.” And the book is named from the word “Malachi” that is used in the first sentence. Although the Jews claim that the Torah was written by Moses, followed by a crew of “inspired and holy” prophets and so-called “wise sages” who added more lies to it, it is a mistake to consider the Hebrew Bible to be any older than dating it from 538 BC. Before anything in the Hebrew Bible can be put into perspective, it is important to understand that all of its books were written and edited in Babylonia between 587 and 537 BC by the Hebrew priests led by Ezra the Scribe. So, regardless of the alleged antiquity or veracity of the various myths, legends and histories contained in these writings, it is only when you understand who the editors were, can you understand why the books were preserved as they were.

the fact that the bible (jesus) goes with time, hand in hand with science. makes our world a better place. for the comparison in quran the earth gets described like a flat carpet...

But the Bible says the earth is a circle, not a sphere. Maybe it's also implying the earth is flat

@@theredreceivers yes, you are right that the bible was teaching wrong but lets be honest we see our results wich ideology earning better fruits now. should only one man (jesus) be credited? imo as atheist no. he should never been forgetten because he is the beginning of our world view. bigest achievement was getting rid of "god is the law" system with is today still present in some countries.

Hi 👋 was wondering if possible could you list a beginners list in where to start/read & also confused as to which church to go to, didn't realise there were so many different types, not sure where to start. If you could do a video that'll be awesome 😊 hope all are well & having a good week hugs x

Listen to the sermons here by John MacArthur, RC Sproul, Voddie Baucham, Steve Lawson. I would not recommend Orthodox or Roman Catholicism. Reformed theology is sound and I would start there. God bless you.

@@jodyel my friend orthodox in arabic means ( مستقيم الرأي ) which means in english straight beliefs…. Now you want to listen to john macArthur and the others your choice… but the straight beliefs has never been changed since the time of the apostles… There’s Strong believers who lived and died for Christ here in the mountains of Lebanon , syria , Egypt many more and who are we to deny them? They lived centuries and centuries keeping the Same beliefs …..the people you are talking about are dangerous the ones you are talking about they get away from the teachings of The true Church

For me I think "Science" can only provide facts and materialism. However, "Religion" molds your moral values, identity, and to reflect the purpose of your life. And it all depends on what religion you follow.

I remembered when I was in elementary I watched this documentary on tv discovery channel about computer programming and how technology has changed through time. The programmers put binomial numbers 1 and 0 on the computer system, and the first thing that pops on the screen, I don't really remember the exact words but it was something like this:" blessed the universe for God created Heaven and Earth", I was really amazed after I learned this and up until today I am still searching for that documentary, I was in elementary that time but I will never forget the true message how God our Lord provided us everything.
