I was an atheist for the first 20 years of my life. When I did psilocybin the first time, I was no longer an atheist. That’s how powerful the experience was. I recently took a macro dose of psilocybin after not doing them for 12 or 13 years. I was able to heal intense trauma that had been following me around, as well as debilitating depression that had taken over my life. Not to mention...at one point, my consciousness was traveling between dimensions, and I felt our universe teaming with life outside the Earth. I also heard the Earth wheezing as if it was sick. Love presented itself to me as an actual “dimension” in itself. Love...or God....literally showed itself to me as a particle or substance that surrounds and connects everything. I came out of that experience a nicer, more emotionally-charged person. I don’t experience clinical depression anymore, and I feel more connected to the Earth and my family than I ever have. This shit is the real deal, folks.

@@EricM93 I seriously do not doubt it one bit. When you consider that Lions mane rebuilds the neurological pathways it's easy to see how this happens. Some people even "stack" together Lions mane supplements with small (very small) doses or what many call "micro-dosing" what we all know as Magic Mushrooms. So with one, brain cells are repaired and reborn and the other starts unlocking unused pathways in the brain. Its groundbreaking to say the least.

Psychedelic mushrooms gave me the strength and the courage to believe in ME! My abusive husband sat on my backside and repeated drove his fists into my ribs, breaking many. On occasion, he'd black my eyes... put a gash on the side of my head. I was young, I was afraid for my life and my children. I was given mushrooms and told to "go inside myself". (My young children were not there.) At one point I found myself sitting on the carpet looking into the floor length mirror. I remember my reflection as being blurred, but as "time" went on, my focus became intense, my reflection - sharp. I know I had a "conversation" but don't recall much, except that what I just relayed, I've never forgotten. Not long after, I gathered my 2 boys, some clothes, and walked out the door. We never looked back. That was 35 yrs ago. BTW, the house we lived in at the time did not have carpet, and I've never owned a floor length mirror. 😊

@@matthewehritz3544 Yep - New Jersey's getting there. Not quite yet, but on its way: New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) signed a psilocybin reform bill into law in February 2021, immediately reclassifying possession of up to an ounce of psychedelic-containing mushrooms as a disorderly persons offense. The new classification means individuals caught with small amounts of psilocybin are now subject to a maximum $1,000 fine, up to six months in jail or both. Previously the offense was a third-degree crime and carried a penalty of between three to five years behind bars and fines of up to $15,000. The change puts mushroom possession on par with simple assault, harassment, shoplifting or resisting arrest in New Jersey.

I suffered a mild traumatic brain injury and suffer from chronic physical pain throughout my body. The pain, poverty because I cannot work, and stress has almost killed me on many occasions. I have lived in a constant of fear, anxiety, stress and depression as a result. 40 years of mental torment and physical pain that has led to PTSD. Mood and behaviour changes affected me greatly including trips to mental institutions for suicidal depression and fines or jails because I used alcohol to try and treat myself but it only caused more trouble. I have been seeking relief from my pain and torments for 40 years. 27 years ago I stopped drinking and started to use Cannabis. That saved my life. But still i suffered even more now without any means of treatments. Mushrooms I had about two years ago worked better than anything tried previously especially for the anxiety and depression. Only one dose left me with a more calm and peaceful feeling for at least three days after. Better than alcohol, Cannabis, Prozac or any other thing I have tried. Being somewhat of a medical professional myself especially in the diagnosis and treatment of Chronic Pain and brain injury I would love to take part in any further studies and offer myself as a study, and to promote this medicine for Veterans and the public who suffer from the same things i do. I’ve had an amazing experience recently. Don’t know how to apply it yet but it’s a wonderful thing. I am now obsessed with wild psilocybe hunting. Not that I’ll eat any one unless I’m 1000% sure 😄👍 I cant wait till that day comes. I hope people open their minds to this gift and try it (psilocybe I mean) you’ll be glad you did

I have been similarly obsessed with wild mushroom hunting in general, it first started with me wanting psychedelics, now i love all mushrooms, and im interested in finding wild edibles. But yeah ive never found one either. If you wanted to find psychedelics really easily you could just trespass onto someones cow pasture and look at cow patties. But i aint doing that.

Perhaps Paul brings some introductory basics to people disconnected from the mushroom... Keep on growing Paul, and lift as many as you can.

Mush grows in cow poop where I live. I've always called them "liberty caps" but that could be incorrect. As a teenager, on a rainy day, you could start at one end of the field, and pick what you found. They grew so fast we could go back to the start of the field and they will have grown again, in only a couple hours. Only in fall. They were potent, I dosed many of them, grew up on it. There was a film on the cap, like a good. When you broke the cap the film would spread out. That's how we were able to tell the difference between another mushroom that looked just like it. The gooey film on the cap. Change your perspective on life.

Mushrooms don't grow that fast. Also, other details in your story are not correct. Nice try though.

Just bought Psilocybin Mushrooms of the world. And started to read. Ordered Mycelium running but not delivered , lost in the post somewhere. Really interested in this subject of Mycology. Admire your work in this field Paul so thank you for you knowledge.

Paul, I have a farm that I manage using regenerative principles. So the soils are mychorizal. Can I place spores on the property & expect mushrooms to grow there? Love everything you do! Kind regards, James

Around minute 20 the therapist tells him to go with the flow! Cracks me up I talked several people down on different occasions . Telling people it’s just a drug go with it, just go with the flow , it’s a drug it will wear off, you will be fine. I love finding out how Science embraced what we knew and used. Yes I am angry about it being illegal, hell its been almost fifty years, still i look back and remember.

i love those timelapse recordings... but how exactly do they do it? how do they know that there will be mushrooms growing? have they put the spores there themself? i don't think that's the case but i'm really curious

I have to mention this experience after hearing this talk long time ago me and my friend took some acid and when it was just coming on we started to play some billiards and for 3 games he didn't miss one shot to sink the balls he and myself couldn't stop laughing in amazement while he was sinking all the balls! Coincidence I don't know him so!

How old is this? Paul should absolutely know that psilocybe weilii is a synonym for psilocybe caerulescens and caerulescens was the name long before Mr Stamets found psilocybe weilii in Georgia although it is quite a beautiful mushroom and one of my favorites.

Its an absolute amazing medicine and mind expansion tool. Just a couple quick questions, when making the ice cubes, you just chop up the fresh mushrooms and throw them in a bowl of ice cubes then put it in the fridge? Also, how many ice cubes to how much fruit should someone use?

I wish I could get my wife to understand all this. She is completely against any kind of psychedelic, she only sees illegal drug use and drug addiction. She suffers from borderline personality disorder and struggles daily with negative thoughts that she believes is normal, which are normal for her. However, for her, she doesn't believe there is anything that can help her. I have had four psychedelic experiences throughout my lifetime, and I have done my best to try and push her to try something like this, she has agreed to try ketamine therapy in a clinical setting, which is huge, but we have yet to set it up because every time we talk about it she goes into denial that she might need it. I wish it was legal so she wouldn't feel so bad about trying something like this. I take lions mane every day, I absolutely love it.
