Scientific Healing Affirmations by Paramahansa Yogananda

Yogananda taught that words have great power, when they are saturated with sincerity, faith, conviction and intuition, they can smash through current circumstances and bring out the desired result. The most effective way to practice affirmations: begin speaking in a loud and strong voice, then repeat it at a medium level, and then finally at a whisper. This internalizes the affirmation and brings it powerfully into all three parts of your mind. When someone speaks a prayer with so much energy and conviction, the Divine MUST respond. This is called a ‘spiritualized’ prayer. When you repeat a spiritualized prayer of affirmation, you reap the benefit. It’s like stepping into a river with a powerful current and being carried along.

Merci. Interesting book indeed. Some good wisdom and spiritual truth. Lots of truths in the biblical words, especially about Jesus. And about Mary. They embody many words of the divine righteous values of the soul. The energies put in motion also through work and action require deep solid roots, good intentions and a good light, a purified heart. It can be powerful assuredly. I used this to help humanity, it worked. 🕊️🌈🤫 The more people, the more souls, the more angelic forces focusing on what's right, the better. Through & Empowered by the spiritual values of God, Mother Mary, the holy spirit, Jesus. Strong unified field of lights. ⚪🙏☀️

There is an affirmation in this book that you can repeat that helps resolve physical issues on page 70. That is one example. I lived in an ashram based on his teaching for 6 years, and then experienced a visitation from Mother Mary. I am an Interfaith Minister, which means I focus on what we have in common rather than converting people to my way of thinking. It’s one of the things that drew me to Yogananda, his first temple was called the Temple of All Religions…and that’s me! How did you find Yoganandaji? I call him Master. 💜

It is really great to see such an innovative, engaging approach which clearly works well. Wayne Dyer & Steve Jobs introduced me to Yogananda, I was intrigued to know what was so amazing & that it caused Steve Jobs to leave a copy of Yogananda's book to every person who attended his funeral. I had also heard Wayne Dyer say the book had changed his life profoundly, so felt driven to read the book myself. Yogananda also seems to have changed your life profoundly too. What an amazing experience to go & live in an ashram for 6 years as a result of his teachings. You must have taken so many interesting lessons from that experience. I read a book by Jay Shetty who totally changed his life path as the result of a lecture given by a monk at his university. He spent 4 years in an ashram, it was fascinating to read about his positive but sometimes challenging experience of this lifestyle. It is amazing to think how profoundly the written & spoken word, in their various forms can greatly impact our consciousness & how the thoughts they lead to subsequently shape our lives. Thank you for being someone who focuses on our commonalities rather than our differences & seeks to raise awareness of this. 💚🙏

Wow, I love reading how Yogananda found his way to you! He is such an amazing soul, and still so accessible! I too am in awe of how the spoken and written word can impact the world for generations. It’s one of the reasons I love supporting writers and other creative folks…the work lives on long after we are gone and can continue to bless others. I was reading a book from 1910 the other day and was so grateful that the author took the time and energy to write down her ideas and experience so that I could benefit over a hundred years later!
