A male scientist or historian quit his job and stayed in a hotel for ten years doing research on the pyramids and came up with the best theories I’ve heard to date, but for the life of me I haven’t been able to find it anywhere since. It does not matter how beautiful the city is if the people are lacking in some way. Basically if they celebrated Osirus and then found their city destroyed it means Osirus could not protect them or punished them.
